One pair of hands.
Good Measure is one person doing the whole thing. Brief, design, build, launch.
Hi, I'm Oliver Durnford. I run Good Measure.
I started this studio because the websites I'd been asked to fix, for friends, for family, for local businesses, all had the same problem. Someone built them quickly, on a platform that couldn't grow, in a voice that wasn't anyone's. The brief had been answered. The site hadn't been measured.
Good Measure is a small reaction to that. Every site is hand-coded, designed and built by the person you brief. Every quote is fixed-fee, written before the work starts. Every site is fast enough to make the platform-built one it replaced feel slow.
The work is deliberately limited. Marketing sites for small studios, makers and local trades. Because a studio that does fewer things does them better. There are designers I'll refer you to when you need something I don't do, and I'd rather make that introduction than overreach.
Good measure. The right amount of work, the right amount of site, nothing in excess.
If we should talk, start here.
